Cooperation with Partners
Expected Activity
Bridge Africa had to work with partners from MINPMEESA, MINAC, MINEFOP, as well as other artisanal bodies to develop a list of artisans, produce training curriculum, and ensure their presence in various trainings.
Completed Activity
We have worked with partners from MINPMEESA, MINEFOP, CCMTB, CAWEECO and MINAC.
With MINPMEESA, we worked with the Department of Handicraft and Informal Sector Migration (DAMSI), that was also represented during the Ngaoundere mass training. CCMTB and CAWEECO assisted us with getting a list of artisans who could partake in the project.
We worked with MINEFOP to get approvals for the training video scripts. MEINEFOP was already represented at the Maroua mass training.
We also organised a committee meeting on January 27 with GIZ, DAMSI, MINAC and MINEFOP, during which we presented the project, activities already carried out, and upcoming activities. GIZ was represented in the meeting by Biloa Melaine and Nina Hollemann; DAMSI was represented by Mbom Maliga and Njoya Leila; MINEFOP was represented by Meyala Hortense and Wannamo Daissague; while MINAC was represented by Nyeki Bella.
